Monarch wing pendant
Monarch butterflies are known for their striking orange and black wings and their incredible migratory journey, traveling thousands of miles between North America and Mexico. This stunning piece features a beautifully preserved monarch wing, encased in glass that I hand cut and grind smooth to fit each individual wing perfectly. I then solder them together with a lead-free silver solder that is safe for skin and protects and preserves the wings to be beautifully worn and admired.
As always, I recommend removing the pendants before showering or swimming to keep them safe from moisture and ensure they have a long second life with you. No butterflies are harmed in the making of these pieces; they are ethically sourced from butterfly sanctuaries where they are collected after living out their natural lives.
